It is always a pleasure to have saturday tea here. Pam and Blanch and their team are amazing. Not only are all of their teas, absolutely perfect and delightful, but they're bites from savory to sweet.Are so enjoyable. They are such kind and gracious hostesses. If you wanted to spend some time in a truly Victorian era home, this is a good way to do it, make your reservation and bring anyone who would enjoy the ability. A touch of life back in a more gentile time. I love their little gift shop too. You can always find a memento to bring back with you into the present.

Historical sign inscription: John McConaughy came to San Diego in the mid-1880s after operating a large ranch in Northern California for most of his life. He died in 1889, just two years after building this house. Mrs. Fanny Keating owned the home after McConaughy. Her husband died in 1888, leaving money to be used toward civic purposes. Fanny made the house available for use as a type of hospital, a need that her husband had championed. Built 1887 at 1569 Union Street, San Diego. Moved 1981 to Heritage Park Row.

While visiting San Diego from Connecticut I spent a wonderful Sunday afternoon at the Coral Tree Tea House. My friend and I enjoyed a three tiered tray full of delicious treats including little sandwiches, scones, brownies and other delicacies. My sister who is gluten free enjoyed her own platter of scrumptious treats that were just as beautifully prepared as mine. The tea choices were plentiful and the service was outstanding. If you are visiting the area I suggest you make a reservation for afternoon tea during your stay. If you live in the area definitely go there.

I recently took my girlfriends, who were visiting from out of town, for a delightful Afternoon Tea experience. We truly savored our time together in this charming establishment, an ideal setting for a ladies' day out. As we settled into our cozy table, we were enveloped by a warm ambiance that encouraged conversation and laughter. The selection of teas was impressive, offering a delightful array of flavors, each served alongside an exquisite assortment of pastries and finger sandwiches, beautifully presented on tiered stands. Nestled within the picturesque historic district of Old Town, the venue's quaint surroundings added to the overall charm, making our afternoon enjoyable and memorable as we indulged in conversation and culinary treats.
